Booking, lessons, homework and materials stay in one place, on the web and in the SingArena app.
How to book a lesson
- Create a free student account and describe your goals and level.
- Open a teacher's profile, pick a free slot in their calendar and send a lesson request.
- The teacher confirms the request. Requests that are not confirmed expire automatically.
- Agree on the price and payment method directly with the teacher. SingArena does not process lesson payments.
The lesson room
- Video, audio and screen sharing in the browser or the app, with no external tools.
- A shared whiteboard and subject tools: equation editor, graphing, code editor, periodic table and flashcards.
- Materials from your teacher: documents, sheet music, chord charts, audio and YouTube links.
- Exercises and homework with deadlines, which you mark as done and discuss in comments.
- Multiple-choice quizzes your teacher prepares to check your progress.
- Completion certificates with a public verification link.
Students under 18 need consent from a parent or legal guardian, confirmed through an email link, before taking 1:1 lessons. The guardian gets a read-only view of lessons, homework and progress.
For teachers
Teach your subject online with your own schedule and the tools you need in one panel.
Teaching on SingArena School is free. Karaoke is a separate plan.
Your own terms
You set your availability, your cancellation notice and an optional informational price list. Fees are agreed directly with students: SingArena charges no commission on teaching fees.
Tools in one panel
The lesson room, a materials library, homework, quizzes, learning plans, certificates and group workshops with a waiting list.
A public profile
After verification your profile appears in the teacher directory and on the pages of the subjects you teach, with your languages and experience.
Who can teach
- Adults aged 18 or over.
- Teachers appear under their real first and last name, so students can check who teaches them.
- Any subject from the catalogue: music, languages, school subjects, arts or life skills.
- Teachers work as independent providers, not as SingArena employees.
How verification works
- You send the application form: one sentence about yourself, a description of at least 100 characters, country, time zone, teaching languages, years of experience, teaching mode and subjects.
- On your profile you can add a photo, credentials and an intro video. Applications with a photo and credentials are reviewed faster.
- The SingArena team reviews the application. Until then, its status is Pending.
- After approval the status changes to Verified and your profile becomes public.
School is in public beta
School is offered as a public beta, so features may still change. Teachers run lessons in the lesson room on a free SingArena plan.

Frequently asked questions
How do I book a lesson?
Create a free student account, open a teacher's profile, choose a free slot and send a lesson request. The lesson is booked once the teacher confirms it.
How much do lessons cost and how do I pay?
Teachers may show an informational price list. You agree the price, payment method and refund terms directly with the teacher. SingArena does not collect, process or pay out lesson fees.
Does SingArena take a commission from teachers?
No. SingArena charges no commission on teaching fees. Teachers are responsible for their teaching income and taxes.
Who can become a teacher?
Adults aged 18 or over who teach under their real name. Every application is reviewed by the SingArena team before the profile goes public.

Your application has the status Pending while the team reviews it. You can still add a photo, credentials and an intro video. After approval your status changes to Verified and students can book you.
Can students under 18 take lessons?

What if a lesson is cancelled?
Each teacher sets a cancellation notice period. If you cancel within it, you are not charged. If the teacher cancels or does not attend, you can choose a full refund or a rescheduled lesson.
