Learn Fitness & personal training online

Fitness coaching online is built around a programme you can actually follow, using the equipment you have — a full gym, a couple of dumbbells or nothing at all. Coaches assess your movement in the first session, set goals that are measurable, and then adjust week by week based on what you report. Live sessions are used for technique correction on the lifts or movements that matter, while the rest is programming, progression and accountability. Coaches cover strength training, hypertrophy, mobility, conditioning, running preparation and returning to exercise after a long gap.

What you'll learn

  • Movement assessment and correcting technique on squats, hinges, presses and pulls
  • Programme design with progressive overload rather than random workouts
  • Training with whatever equipment you actually have available
  • Warm-ups, mobility work and injury-avoiding progressions
  • Conditioning and cardio structured around your goal
  • Tracking progress in a way that survives busy weeks
  • Sustainable habits: sleep, recovery and realistic weekly volume

How lessons work here

  1. Find a teacher. Browse profiles with headline, country, spoken languages, experience, credentials and student reviews. Every public profile has been verified before it goes live.
  2. Book a slot. Teachers publish real availability, including exceptions and holidays. You pick a time and the booking is confirmed against that calendar, so double-bookings are blocked at database level.
  3. Join the lesson room. Lessons run in the browser with live video and audio — nothing to install. Screen sharing and shared tools sit alongside the video.
  4. Use the tools built for this subject. The lesson room includes a shared whiteboard and document for planning and notes; an interactive chess board for game analysis; flashcards and server-graded quizzes where the subject needs recall; file sharing for photos, decks, spreadsheets and drafts.
  5. Get homework and keep the thread. Teachers set tasks with attachments and deadlines, comment on what you submit, and keep a shared learning plan you can both see between lessons.
  6. Track progress. Attendance and a simple lesson rating are recorded by the teacher, quizzes are graded on the server, and a progress report can be generated for you — or for a parent or guardian.

Who it's for

  • Beginners who find gyms intimidating and want structure at home
  • Lifters plateaued on a self-made programme
  • People returning to training after illness, injury or a long break

Complete beginners through to experienced practitioners preparing for a specific event, competition or professional goal.

Levels and lesson formats

  • One-to-one lessons — the standard format, usually 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
  • Recurring weekly slots — booked from the teacher's live availability calendar.
  • Group workshops — teachers can run scheduled workshops with limited places and a waiting list.
  • Trial or one-off sessions — useful for a single problem, an exam panic or checking the fit before committing.

Lesson length, cancellation notice and any price are set by each teacher and shown on their profile before you book. Teachers can also share materials, quizzes and certificates of completion with public verification.

Frequently asked questions

Can a coach correct my form over video?

Yes, with a camera angle showing your whole body from the side or at 45 degrees. Coaches also review recorded sets you send between sessions.

Do I need a gym?

No. Effective programmes exist for bodyweight only, resistance bands or a pair of dumbbells. Tell your coach what you have.

Is nutrition advice included?

General guidance on eating for training goals is common. Coaches are not dietitians and will refer you to one for clinical or medical nutrition needs.

What if I have an injury?

Tell your coach and follow medical advice first. Coaches program around cleared limitations but do not diagnose or treat injuries.
