Troye Sivan Joins Apple Music Hall Opening Lineup, Teases New Album 'She's the Best'

Troye Sivan Added to Star-Studded Apple Music Hall Opening Lineup

Apple's new live music venue in London, the Apple Music Hall, has announced its opening lineup, and Troye Sivan is among the first artists set to grace its stage. The Australian pop star will perform on October 13th, joining a roster that includes Elton John, Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Arlo Parks, Burna Boy, Chase & Status, and Charli XCX. With only 600 seats available, tickets for these inaugural shows are expected to be in high demand when sales open on Monday, September 28th at 9AM GMT.

Sivan's inclusion in this exclusive lineup underscores his status as one of pop's most compelling live acts. The venue, located in London, promises an intimate setting for fans lucky enough to secure tickets. The announcement comes as Sivan continues to build momentum following his 2023 album Something to Give Each Other, which topped the ARIA Albums chart and earned him three Grammy nominations.

Inside the Studio: Leland on Crafting Sivan's Upcoming Album 'She's the Best'

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, producer Leland offered a glimpse into his creative process and his enduring collaboration with Sivan. From his home studio in the hills of Studio City, Leland has crafted hits for a range of artists, but his work with Sivan holds a special place. "Getting to be part of a gay pop star's career is something he'll never take for granted," Leland said, reflecting on their partnership.

The producer, who also works on RuPaul's Drag Race, revealed that Sivan's upcoming album, She's the Best, is set for release next month. The album follows Something to Give Each Other and promises to continue Sivan's exploration of queer artistry and pop excellence. Leland emphasized that the music should speak for itself: "I want opportunities for him and for our music because the music is good and the music videos are good and the team's good and the energy is good."

Leland's studio has become a hub for creative collaboration, hosting sessions with artists like Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, and Rebecca Black. The space, described as a chic getaway with warm colors and candles, allows for both formal recording and informal conversations that often spark creativity. "The writing doesn't have to happen in the studio. The recording can happen in the studio," Leland explained. "I feel like a lot of it is just sitting out here having conversations."

Sivan's Career Momentum: From 'Something to Give Each Other' to 'She's the Best'

Troye Sivan has been on a remarkable trajectory since his debut album Blue Neighbourhood in 2015, which featured the multi-platinum single "Youth." His 2018 album Bloom produced the number-one dance hit "My My My!" and his 2023 release Something to Give Each Other delivered the singles "Rush" and "Got Me Started," both of which garnered Grammy nominations. As of 2024, Sivan has sold 10 million albums worldwide, solidifying his place as a global pop force.

Beyond music, Sivan has also made waves as an actor, with roles in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the Spud trilogy, and HBO's The Idol. In 2017, he became the youngest recipient of the GLAAD Stephen F. Kolzak Award, and in 2018, he earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for "Revelation" from the film Boy Erased. Rolling Stone Australia named him one of the country's 50 greatest artists of all time in 2020.

What to Expect from 'She's the Best'

While details about the album's tracklist and sound remain under wraps, Leland's comments suggest a continuation of the bold, queer-forward pop that has defined Sivan's recent work. The producer's belief that "you can really hear if there was some queer energy in the room" hints at an album steeped in authenticity and artistic freedom. Fans can also look forward to Sivan's performance at the Apple Music Hall on October 13th, where he'll showcase material from the new album alongside his established hits.

With She's the Best due next month and a high-profile venue debut on the horizon, Troye Sivan's 2026 is shaping up to be another landmark year in a career that continues to break boundaries and redefine pop stardom.
