The Grammy nominee packed a stadium-sized performance into New York's Palladium, delivering backflips, ballads, and a rare "Ghost Town" before heading to Seoul and the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Benson Boone Wraps U.S. Tour With a Fashion Week Spectacle

Benson Boone knows how to make an entrance. On Sept. 10, the singer-songwriter kicked off New York Fashion Week with an intimate performance at the Palladium, a 2,100-capacity venue just steps from Times Square. According to HuffPost, Boone emerged in a red T-shirt and high-waisted white trousers and immediately launched into "Mr. Electric Blue," punctuating the opening verse with a flawless backflip off a piano.

The show marked the conclusion of the U.S. leg of his Wanted Man Tour, and while the venue was smaller than the sports arenas he played over the summer, Boone didn't scale back the theatrics. He reportedly executed at least a half-dozen more backflips throughout a set that featured nearly 20 songs drawn from his two albums, 2024's Fireworks & Rollerblades and 2025's American Heart.

A Set Built on Both Bangers and Ballads

Boone balanced radio-friendly hits with emotionally charged ballads. He invited the audience to sing along to "Mystical Magical," a track that interpolates Olivia Newton-John's 1981 classic "Physical," and delivered it faithfully. But his soulful vocals and musicality were most striking on slower numbers like "Take Me Home" and "In the Stars," the latter of which he dedicated to his late great-grandmother, "GG."

The night also included a rare live rendition of "Ghost Town," his 2021 debut single, which helped launch his career after going viral on TikTok. The song has been absent from many of his recent concerts, making its inclusion at the Palladium a special moment for longtime fans.

Staying Connected to His Roots

Speaking to AM New York in an interview published last week, Boone said he was eager to "actually feel and observe everyone's energy again" in a smaller venue after a summer of arena shows. "I think I need nights like this every so often," he explained, "just to stay connected to what it felt like at the very beginning."

That gratitude was evident as Boone chatted with fans, including one celebrating their 17th birthday at the show. The performance fittingly closed with "Beautiful Things," the breakout hit that catapulted him to global fame and earned him a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. Boone delivered the song with sterling voice and goosebump-inducing gravitas, proving that comparisons to Harry Styles are short-sighted at best.

Those who lingered after the final note were treated to a mini-encore: Boone donned a Spider-Man mask and exited the stage amid a frenzy of screams and camera flashes.

What's Next for Boone

The Palladium show, billed as part of Wells Fargo's Autograph Card Exclusives series, was Boone's last scheduled U.S. performance through the end of 2026. He will return to the concert stage next month when his Wanted Man Tour resumes in Seoul, South Korea.

Before that, however, Boone is set to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 19, alongside Ciara, Lainey Wilson, LE SSERAFIM, Major Lazer, Muse, Snoop Dogg, The Smashing Pumpkins, and more. The two-day festival takes over the T-Mobile Arena on Sept. 18 and 19, with BTS and Cardi B headlining Friday's show. For those unable to attend, the festival will stream on Disney+ and Hulu and air on iHeartRadio stations in over 150 markets.

Boone's career has been on a meteoric rise since his early days posting singing videos on TikTok. Signed by Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds to Night Street Records in partnership with Warner Records, he released "Ghost Town" in 2021 and has since become one of pop's most electrifying live performers. With his sophomore album American Heart out now and a world tour on the horizon, Boone shows no signs of slowing down—or keeping his feet on the ground.
