Biography
Christian Jesús González Nodal, known professionally as Christian Nodal, is a Mexican singer and songwriter who pioneered the fusion genre "mariacheño," blending mariachi and norteño music. Since signing with Universal Music Latin at age seventeen, he achieved critical acclaim with his debut album *Me Dejé Llevar* and continued his success with *Ahora*, while his 2021 single "Botella Tras Botella" became the first regional Mexican song to enter the Billboard Hot 100. A multiple award winner with six Latin Grammy Awards, two Billboard Latin Music Awards, and a Latin American Music Award, Nodal has shaped contemporary regional Mexican music by expanding its commercial reach. His subsequent EPs *Forajido* and *Forajido 2* further cemented his influence, producing chart-topping singles like "Ya No Somos Ni Seremos" on the Billboard Mexico Songs chart.
