After independently releasing tracks in 2021, he signed with Atlantic Records in 2022 and quickly ascended the charts, with his 2024 single "Burning Down" marking his debut on the Billboard Hot 100. His 2025 single "Ordinary" became a global phenomenon, topping the Billboard Hot 100 alongside charts in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom, leading to a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 2026.
